Growing Future Leaders

It’s our responsibility to grow future coaches as well as developing your own coaching abilities. You cannot do one without doing the other.  It is vitally important to bring out the best in the people you work with. In our internship program, my mission is to develop the interns, graduate assistants, and coaches I work with into position-ready candidates. With their loyalty to our program and the missions we plan to accomplish, I return the loyalty in kind.

In the movie, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Billionaire Bretton James portrayed by the actor Josh Brolin was a backstabbing business man – but had some great words of wisdom. He says

“I think every man should have a mentor and a protege at least one time in their life.”

I completely agree with this statement.

It’s your responsibility to give back to this profession.
