## **Update:**

Ooof. For the first time, I had to re-release a song after submitting it to Spotify, Apple Music, and everywhere else. Once it was out, I knew it could be better. Somewhere in the mixing and mastering process, my vocals got cluttered, muddy, and buried under competing elements.

So I pulled it back. Way back. I stripped down most of the synths and let the vocals step forward. **And yeah, I am significantly happier with the result.**

Lesson learned. If you have strong vocal tracks, let them shine. Do not overcomplicate percussion and melodies just because you can.

**This one was humbling**, but necessary. I will carry this forward into the next mix. Which is already in progress because this is fun and I am genuinely loving this creative journey right now.
